Pixelator is one of those inspiring ideas showing that to create a performance you don’t need copious amounts of money for the materials. It consists in a video art performance that pixels the advertising screens one can find at the entrance of New York Subway stations. The system is not a secret… It’s made of a foamboard and covered with the diffusion gel to blur the lights. All the materials and instructions can be found on the project’s website - Pixelator. The final result is simply outstanding.
